Leprosy is an ancient disease that currently infects more than 200 000 people each year. For more than three decades, Novartis and the Novartis Foundation has been working to reduce the incidence of leprosy, and the Novartis Foundation recently helped establish the Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy in an effort to eliminate the disease.

Story /When I first joined Novartis, I was nervous yet open to new experiences. I did not have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and the dynamics and ways of working in marketing were completely different from what I was used to. But what sealed the deal for me was a conversation with my then manager who told me that the purpose I would feel and impact I would have would be unique. And she was right.
