As a Senior Vigilance Process Manager, you will drive global pharmacovigilance process excellence, leading strategic improvements, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional initiatives that support the safe use of medicines worldwide. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and automation of global pharmacovigilance processes.
- Lead end-to-end process governance, ensuring sustainable process performance and maturity.
- Partner with stakeholders to implement process changes and strengthen regulatory compliance.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and high-priority business transformation projects.
- Monitor emerging regulations, assess impacts, and drive required process enhancements.
- Develop and maintain procedural documentation, training materials, and business continuity plans.
- Represent pharmacovigilance processes during audits, inspections, and governance forums.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, MSc degree or Life sciences degree or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including pharmacovigilance.
- Experienced with PSURs / DSURs / RMPs / local aggregate reports.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a global matrix environment.
- Strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Solid project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse global teams.
Desirable Skills:
- AI fluency is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automation projects.
- Additional languages are an advantage.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: EUR 63,600 - 118,000
The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
