As the Financial Controls and Compliance US Senior Manager, you will serve as a key assurance leader responsible for enhancing financial controls, compliance, and governance across U.S. entities supported by NOCC Mexico. You will leverage data analytics, AI-enabled monitoring, and risk-based methodologies to identify emerging risks, evaluate control effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to senior finance and assurance leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to lead transformative assurance initiatives, partner with global stakeholders, and contribute to a modern, agile, and digitally enabled control environment.
About the Role
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for NFCM, SOX, and KPMG-related matters associated with processes executed from NOCC Mexico for U.S. entities
- Partner with U.S. FC&C teams and provide advisory support for business process changes, transformation initiatives, and new project implementations
- Support and monitor internal and external audit activities, ensuring adherence to financial control and compliance requirements
- Leverage AI, FAN analytics, continuous monitoring, and digital tools to proactively identify emerging risks, anomalies, and control issues
- Apply risk sensing, predictive scoring, and analytics-driven methodologies to focus assurance activities on high-risk populations and areas
- Monitor control execution, remediation activities, and governance actions through NFCM Runbook, GRC Process Controls, and related platforms
- Build trusted relationships with CFOs, FRA, FC&C, Internal Audit, control owners, and Global Assurance stakeholders while promoting agile execution and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Controls, Compliance, Internal Audit, SOX/ICFR, Risk Management, or Finance Governance within a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of NFCM, SOX404, ITACs, internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, and remediation processes
- Experience performing risk assessments, quality reviews, assurance activities, and control effectiveness evaluations
- Fluent English communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex risk topics into practical business actions
Desirable Requirements
- MBA, advanced degree, or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent
- Experience with SAP, GRC Process Controls, FAN analytics, AI-enabled assurance tools, data analytics, automation technologies, and continuous controls monitoring
