Summary
The Internship Program offers fresh graduates' students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on disease awareness, patient journey optimization, and accelerating time to diagnosis. Interns will support initiatives that enhance stakeholder engagement, generate insights, and contribute to projects aimed at improving disease recognition and timely patient referral, while building a strong foundation through structured learning, coaching, and real-world projects.
About the Role
Major Accountabilities
- Support disease awareness initiatives and projects that aim to improve early disease recognition and reduce delays in diagnosis.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting insights related to patient pathways, referral patterns, and healthcare stakeholder engagement.
- Support the team in developing presentations, reports, and educational materials that contribute to disease awareness objectives.
- Maintain accurate project, stakeholder, and activity data within company systems.
- Participate in relevant healthcare stakeholder engagements, internal discussions, and business reviews where appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical, Public Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial functions to support patient-focused initiatives.
- Contribute to projects focused on identifying barriers to diagnosis and opportunities to enhance patient access to appropriate care.
- Support initiatives assigned by the line manager while ensuring full compliance with Novartis policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.

Minimum Requirements
Work Experience
- No prior work experience required.
- Internship experience, extracurricular activities, research projects, or university initiatives in healthcare, life sciences, public health, or related fields are an advantage.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Interest in healthcare, patient journeys, and disease awareness initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
