Summary
Responsible to establish a clear and effective business ownership for Supply Chain processes within the Country SC organization to ensure adherence and sustainability of the defined standards
About the Role
Major Accountabilities:
- Drive process changes and operational/productivity improvements as process champion or project lead within the country.
- Liaise with associated departments (e.g. Finance, DRA, QA, others) to optimize cross-functional processes and projects.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with General Management and relevant functions in the Country and across manufacturing sites and functions.
- Support and participate in all launches activities in the country or cluster.
- Ensure correct scenarios planning and assumptions launch set-up and alignment with supply sites.
- Identify areas for improvements in the country, ensure implementation of continuous performance improvement plans and follow up sustainable implementation.
- Ensure high quality planning in affiliates and supply sites to optimize supply chain performance. (e.g. Sales Forecasting, Demand Planning, Launch Planning, others).
- Represent supply chain in local S&BP meetings in CPO and Supply Sites.
- Select, train, develop and coach SCM associates within the country to develop high potential Supply Chain talent pipeline.
- Manage and control budget and expenses for the assigned supply chain units and initiatives; to evaluate cost effectiveness and results.
Essential requirements:
- University Degree.
- 6-8 years of experience in leadership positions within Supply Chain, Distribution & Warehouse and Customer Service of a pharmaceutical company.
- Advanced people management skills.
- Able to deal with different local and global stakeholders at all level.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Desirable requirements:
- Post Graduation; APICS CSPS, CPIM or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SAP Hana, Kinaxis and other relevant Supply Chain tools.
