As Head Finance TRD Bx-DP, you will play a pivotal leadership role shaping financial strategy and enabling high-impact decisions across Technical Research and Development. Partnering with senior leaders, you will influence how resources are allocated, investments are prioritized, and performance is delivered—ensuring that financial insight translates into real business value. About the Role
Vaše ključne odgovornosti:
- Prispevanje k strateškemu načrtovanju kot ključni član vodstvenega tima TRD Bx-DP.

- Zagotavljanje skladnosti s finančnimi politikami, kontrolami in regulatornimi zahtevami.

- Univerzitetna izobrazba s področja financ, računovodstva, ekonomije ali poslovne administracije.

Zaželene izkušnje:
- Izkušnje v farmacevtski, biotehnološki ali life sciences industriji.
- Poznavanje procesov po združitvah in prevzemih, vrednotenja kapitalskih naložb ali obsežnih transformacijskih programov.

Osnovna plača se določa na podlagi vnaprej opredeljenih in transparentnih kriterijev, kot so relevantne veščine, kompetence in izkušnje, ne glede na spol, ter v skladu z Novartisovo politiko določanja plač. Po zaposlitvi v Novartisu se plača periodično pregleda v skladu z internimi akti in postopki.
Poleg osnovne plače ste lahko upravičeni tudi do kratkoročnega bonusa, ki je odvisen od določenih meril uspešnosti.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic planning as a core member of the TRD Bx-DP leadership team.
- Provide financial guidance on resource allocation, footprint, and capital investments.
- Drive productivity mindset and optimize resource utilization to achieve business objectives.
- Lead financial planning processes aligned with global Technical Research and Development frameworks.
- Simplify and harmonize finance processes through automation and standardization initiatives.
- Ensure delivery of financial targets in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Extensive experience in financial management within a global or complex organizational environment.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making.
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting and performance management.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data into business insights.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry environment.
- Familiarity with post-merger integration, capital investment evaluation, or large-scale transformation programs.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:
€56,070.00 to €104,130.00
The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
