Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Translate business needs into data-driven solutions across multiple domains
  • Provide hands-on support in data pipelines, model development, and reporting solutions
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to design scalable data models and workflows
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to drive insights, machine learning deployment, and automation use cases
  • Support data governance processes, including stewardship, lineage, and data quality frameworks
  • Establish standards for data documentation and governance across the data lifecycle
  • Oversee development and maintenance of dashboards to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or related fields
  • Proven ability to manage complex data projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics lifecycle, governance, and reporting best practices
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Snowflake, Collibra, Dataiku, and Power BI
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consulting environments

Expected Remuneration Range for role:

CAD 125,120 - 173,696

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
