About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Implement processes and tools at scale to ensure application and platform operations that are reliable, secure, cost-efficient, and meet scientific needs.
- Drive continuous improvement, modernization, and innovation initiatives that enhance reliability, quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Build a high-performing organization rooted in operational excellence through clear expectations, priorities, and accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a vibrant and energized teams
- Serve as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues and portfolio decisions
- Foster a culture of “team before self”, urgency, clarity, trust, and shared ownership
- Define and refine vision, strategy, and framework for Operations
- Drive disciplined operational budget management for product operations, including planning, tracking, and optimization of spend
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, internal partners, and vendors
- Drive people performance management by setting clear goals, coaching teams, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring a high-performance, accountable culture
Minimum Expectations
- 12–15+ years overall experience in product, platform, or operations role with 4–6+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven leadership in product operations with exposure to ITIL practices, DevOps mindset, and performance-driven culture
- Expertise and experience in people or organizational leadership
- Experience in improving operational quality, reliability, and impact across a complex portfolio of scientific software in life‑science environments
- Proven experience communicating and presenting at senior management levels
- Clear, visible personal values; acts with integrity and builds trust across diverse teams.

- Very strong communication skills; able to frame and simplify complex topics
