About the Role

Responsibilities:                                                                                                                

  • Lead development of scientific publications including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and slide presentations
  • Own content delivery end-to-end, from initial brief through to final publication or presentation
  • Translate complex clinical data into clear, audience-appropriate scientific messaging
  • Ensure all content is accurate, evidence-based, and aligned to defined scientific narratives
  • Create materials for scientific meetings, including symposia slides, agendas, and speaker briefings
  • Perform internal scientific reviews to maintain quality and consistency across deliverables
  • Conduct quality control and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on content strategy and priorities
  • Contribute to strategic and tactical publication planning and associated research
  • Mentor team members and support onboarding of new colleagues

Essential for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in medical writing, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentation materials
  • Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and scientific data interpretation
  • Proven ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, concise, audience-appropriate content
  • Demonstrated experience working within publication processes and industry guidelines, including good publication practices
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on scientific accuracy and quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver within tight timelines

Desirable for the role:

  • Advanced degree such as Master of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Medicine, or Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas or global, cross-functional teams
