About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead transformation, standardization, and automation initiatives across International BPA and Finance CoE processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and insight generation.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and KPI frameworks following visualization and data governance best practices.
- Develop and deploy low‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline reporting, planning, and operational workflows.
- Build, optimize, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using tools such as Alteryx, Dataiku, or equivalent platforms, supporting data integration and modernization initiatives.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights and compelling business narratives for senior stakeholders.
- Partner effectively with global BPA, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Ensure solutions adhere to Novartis data standards, security, compliance, and quality guidelines.
- Act as a subject matter expert in BI, automation, and analytics, contributing to capability building and best‑practice sharing across the organization.
Minimum qualifications:
- 6–8 years of relevant professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, Automation, or Advanced Analytics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Data Science, Engineering, or MBA.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Power BI (PL‑300 certification preferred).
- Solid experience in ETL development using Alteryx, Dataiku, or similar platforms (certifications preferred).
- Proven ability to work independently, take end‑to‑end ownership, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform ecosystem.
- Executive education or certification from IIT/IIM in Analytics, AI/ML (preferred).
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with senior stakeholders.
- Financial planning, BPA, or Finance domain exposure is an advantage.
