About the Role
Major accountabilities:
Forecasting & Supply Planning
- Develop, consolidate, and continuously improve demand forecasts by integrating historical data, market trends, promotions, new launches, and supply constraints.
- Perform detailed forecast accuracy and bias analysis, identify root causes of deviations, and lead corrective action plans.
- Ensure full alignment of demand and supply through the S&OP process, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
- Define and maintain planning parameters such as lead times, safety stocks, MOQ, and replenishment rules.
- Actively contributes to inventory optimization, balancing service level, cost.
- Reporting & Performance Management.
- Design, develop, and automate Supply Chain reporting dashboards.
- Monitor and analyze key KPIs including Forecast Accuracy, Customer Service Level (CSL), Inventory Coverage, Obsolescence, and Plan Adherence.
- Provide clear, structured, and decision-oriented analyses to management.
- Ensure data consistency and reliability across systems (SAP, Kinaxis).
Warehousing Management
- Oversee and optimize warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and distribution.
- Monitor warehouse performance indicators such as productivity, inventory accuracy, service level, and lead time.
- Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records through cycle counts and stock audits.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to guarantee operational excellence and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, layout optimization, and digital tools.
Importation, Customs & Compliance
- Manage import flows in close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and local legislation
- Monitor and optimize import lead times, transportation costs, and customs duties
- Anticipate and mitigate risks related to customs delays, documentation issues, or regulatory non-compliance
- Maintain complete and accurate import and customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates, declarations)
- Support business continuity by securing international supply flows in constrained environments
Systems, Master Data & Digitalization
- Ensure the accuracy and governance of Master Data (materials, planning parameters, logistics attributes)
- Leverage SAP and Kinaxis functionalities for planning, simulation, and performance analysis
- Actively contribute to Supply Chain digital transformation and continuous improvement projects
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
- Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
Key performance indicators:
- Inventory Management, Gap Analysis, Cost Efficiency and efficiency of supply processes
- Standard Master Data KPIs e.g. Completeness, Consistency and Accuracy.
- On time, in full, delivery of the business basics – budgets, quality compliance
- Customer Service Level
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
- 5–8+ years of experience in supply planning, forecasting, and warehousing
- Proven experience in importation and customs management
- Strong exposure to S&OP processes within complex, cross-functional environments
- English ,French good verbal and writing skills
- Advanced proficiency in ERP system (SAP, Kinaxis) MS Office (especially Excel), ERP systems, and data analysis software.
