Summary

As a Senior Expert Data Science - GenAI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering AI systems that solve complex business challenges across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Facility Management. Your work will focus on building and deploying GenAI-powered solutions—including chat assistants, automated report generators, digital twin components, and agentic workflows - that drive automation, efficiency, and business impact.
You will collaborate across business domains to design, implement, and operationalize advanced AI systems using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi agent architectures, and evaluation driven development practices. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise AI strategy and shape scalable, production grade AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of GenAI systems such as chat assistants, automated report generators, digital twin components, and multi‑agent workflows.
  • Develop AI solutions that support core business domains: Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Facility Management.
  • Partner with cross‑functional SMEs to translate business needs into scalable AI architectures.
  • Apply LLMs, RAG pipelines, and multi‑agent orchestration frameworks to structured and unstructured enterprise data.
  • Implement evaluation‑driven development processes to ensure reliability, accuracy, and safety of deployed AI systems.
  • Manage project budgets, staffing, and timelines with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluate and integrate new AI technologies, platforms, and scientific software.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and responsible AI.

Essential Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Economics with specialization in information technologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data science with a track record of global AI/ML solution delivery.
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern GenAI methods.
  • Hands‑on experience with LLMs, RAG, multi‑agent systems, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (experience with R optional).
  • Knowledge of enterprise AI integration, ideally on Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or comparable cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the AI lifecycle—data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Excellent ability to translate complex technical insights into actionable business outcomes.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience delivering AI systems in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, prompt engineering, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience in automation and digitalization initiatives across operations (quality, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, facility management).
