Diversity & Inclusion Governance and Community

D&I is endorsed at the highest level in the company by the CEO and the Executive Committee of Novartis.

Our Global D&I leadership team, led by the Global Head of D&I of Novartis, comprises 15 members representing all business units and areas, and our largest countries by employee population. Together, the team is responsible for driving our D&I strategic priorities, working with business leaders across the company. Further, executive leaders have personal D&I objectives, and are accountable for balanced gender representation in their business areas.

Beyond our formal governance, we have an engaged group of more than 800 employees who are D&I advocates, and support our D&I vision every day. This broader community is essential to amplify the reach of our D&I activities and increase the engagement of our people.
