Marie-France Tschudin has been President of Novartis Pharmaceuticals since June 7, 2019. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Novartis.
Ms. Tschudin previously was President of Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Novartis company, from March to June 2019. She joined Novartis in 2017 as Europe Region Head of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and has more than 25 years of broad, multinational experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. During her career, she has established a strong record of accomplishments in driving commercial excellence, integrity, and commitment to patients. Before joining Novartis, Ms. Tschudin spent 10 years at Celgene International in a variety of leadership positions, including corporate vice president of hematology and oncology for Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 2014 to 2016; regional vice president of northern Europe from 2012 to 2014; general manager of Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia from 2009 to 2011; and country manager of Switzerland from 2008 to 2009.
Ms. Tschudin holds a Master of Business Administration from IMD business school in Switzerland, and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University in the United States.
