The Regional Access and Healthcare Solutions Lead serve as a strategic leader driving regional healthcare system shaping and market access initiatives across the Czech healthcare ecosystem. This role combines deep expertise in healthcare policy, market dynamics, and business strategy to design, execute, and evaluate projects that improve patient pathways, ensure optimal access conditions, and foster innovative partnerships with key stakeholders.
The Lead identifies and builds relationships with regional stakeholders and decision makers, monitors policy trends, and provides strategic guidance to anticipate and respond to environmental changes impacting the Novartis portfolio. By integrating forward-looking analysis of healthcare structures, public policy, and stakeholder needs, the role ensures alignment with national strategies while delivering measurable improvements in patient care, operational efficiency, and market access.
Managing a team of Healthcare Solutions Managers (HTMs) and Regional Commercial & Access Managers (RCAMs), the Lead drives collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to create sustainable solutions that enhance the overall business environment.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integrated strategies for healthcare environment shaping and regional access, aligned with Country Organization (CO) priorities.

Lead and mentor HSMs and RCAMs, ensuring effective collaboration and performance management.

Drive end-to-end project lifecycle management: idealization, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure at hospital & regional level.

Build and maintain relationships with key relevant stakeholders (healthcare providers, payers and technology partners)

Ensure strategy & execution of local access conditions in alignment with national value & access strategy.

Identify and implement innovative solutions, including digital tools and new partnership models.

Oversee pricing policy contributions, tender coordination, and compliance with Czech regulations.

Monitor KPIs, prepare executive summaries, and report progress to senior leadership.

Essential Requirements:
• Relevant University degree

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with a results-driven mindset

• Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing at senior levels

• Fluent in English and Czech with outstanding communication and collaboration capabilities
