We use a combination of approaches to help patients across different income levels access our medicines. The value-based approach we apply to pricing ties the price of a medicine to the value it delivers for patients, healthcare systems and society. This helps to improve access, while incentivizing healthcare systems and providers to deliver effective and sustainable treatment.
Our medicines are also made available through specific patient support programs, as well as managed access programs (known as compassionate use). Our belief is that all countries should appropriately value and contribute fairly to the cost of innovation so that patients everywhere can benefit from our medicines without delay.
