NTO Sr Buyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the global category strategy at the local level OR implement the sourcing business plan for the area of ​​responsibility; directly implement global category strategy at the site level.
• Oversee implementation of sourcing plans for the subcategory and deliver subcategory savings goals following participation in the goal setting process.
• Provide information on overall category segmentation and identification of key supplier relationships or may directly control purchasing with respect to supplier choice, timing and trading conditions on a local basis (may vary between divisions depending on the way spending is controlled).
• Manage strategic relationships with subcategory suppliers and implement consistent key performance indicators for the subcategory and report on supplier performance.
• Collect supplier information and feedback from divisions, countries, sites, category teams and business partners, and deliver purchasing balanced scorecard metrics for the corresponding subcategory.
• Create, apply, complete and review important contracts for the subcategory and ensure that negotiated contracts are clearly communicated for the subcategory area.
• Manage strategic relationships with subcategory suppliers and implement consistent key performance indicators for the subcategory, ensuring supplier risks and performance issues are resolved timely to end-user satisfaction.

Role Requirements :

• Delivery of results (main KPIs: savings, increase in payment terms, catalogs, e-auctions, etc.)
• Capacity for analysis, decision making, stakeholder management, leadership, teamwork, negotiation
• Systems: Ariba, SAP, Office
• Advanced English

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the purchasing area.

• Experience with categories like, production, design and construction, production equipment, machinery, supplies, facilities management, utilities, health, safety and environmental services, lab maintenance and supplies.
