Role Title: Asc. Dir. Dev. IT Data, Analytics, DS&AI

Location: Hyderabad

Role Purpose:

• The core responsibility of the Associate Director – Solution Delivery Dev Data Analytics and DS&AI Capabilities is to take the lead in solution delivery of IT projects under Development domain with focus on data. This involves collaborating with senior-level collaborators, data leaders, business domain experts (SMEs), architects, modelers, and data engineers.

• The role reports to Data delivery lead in Data, Analytics and DS&AI for Development domain.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Accountable for delivery of data capabilities across DDIT Dev Data and Analytics Use Cases on the enterprise-wide data and analytics platform to support various data digital and technology initiatives.
• Create reusable data assets to accelerate reusability and availability at scale. Responsible for alignment with Enterprise Data Owner (EDO) and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) in executing and adopting data governance, data management, data quality guidelines.
• Accountable for the overall data engineering, data architecture, data modelling work during the life cycle execution of use cases.Coordinate and deliver on Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality (DQ) use cases in close collaboration with EDO and Development line function teams.
• Works with Architecture Platform and Data (APD) team to ensure the governance principles, frameworks, standards, best practices, and guidelines are well adopted and seeded in the use cases for data related topics.Drive execution with vendor partners and ensure that the right expertise is in place. Conduct vendor partners review and performance on a periodic basis.Assists Project IT teams during full lifecycle of execution including gaps assessments, cost estimations, data architecture and execution.
• Review and approve data models and assist with data asset classification.Create, maintain, and evangelize point of views and opinions on emerging data trends in life sciences, pharma industry and relevant technologies for data and analytics.
• Proactively engage with APD Technology & Platform partners to jointly strive for innovation and expand the data platform capabilities. Ensure that the delivery teams follow best practices which includes peer reviews, formal documentation, and sign off by business.
• Ensure on time, within budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio. Continuous improvement to automate capabilities, simplify landscape and reduce cost.
• Ensure robust platform operations partnering with platform support teams. Lead the project team members and provide thought leadership aligned with expected results ensuring consistency of implementation approach and adherence to applicable methodologies, processes, tools, and standards.
• Ensure adherence to ISRM, legal, ethics and other compliance policies and procedures in defining architecture standards, patterns, and platform solutions. Articulates solutions /recommendations to business users. Provides pathways to manage data effective for analytical uses.
• Coordinates, prioritize and efficiently allocates the team resources to critical initiatives: plans resources proactively, anticipates and actively manages change, sets collaborator expectations as required, identifies operational risks, and enable the team to drive issues to resolution, balances multiple priorities and minimizes escalations.

Essential Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering or information technology subject area.

Experience

• Good interpersonal skills, accountability, written and verbal communication skills and time management.
• 12+ years of IT experience in a highly qualified function such as senior IT Leader, in Data and Analytics with strong exposure to Data Management.
• 10+ years Analytics / Big Data experience, proven skills & experience in solution design in a highly qualified technical function and global matrix organization 
• Consistent record of broad industry experience and solid understanding of sophisticated enterprise IT landscapes and relationships as well as driving business transformations. xperience in AWS and related technologies having delivered end to end data life cycle use cases.
• Experience with code management tools, CI/CD, automated testing is required. Specialization in Pharma Domain is required and understanding of usage across the end-to-end enterprise value chain.
• Experience in managing vendor and collaborator expectations and driving techno-functional discussion; understanding of the demand to sustain and project financial processes.A proven track record in managing high performing information technology global teams that are culturally diverse in matrix organizations.
• Customer orientation: Proven ability to communicate across various stakeholders, including internal and external, and align with all levels of IT and business stakeholders.Excellent negotiation skills, experience with agile and DevOps methodology, capability to think strategically.
