Summary

Responsible for supporting field interaction excellence for IM teams (Commercial and Medical), tracking and communicating field performance management analytics and suggesting corrective measures for optimal resource allocation, accurate customer targeting and KPI improvement. Driving incentive process and supporting Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) usage for field associates and ensuring process compliance and adherence to corporate standards.

About the Role

Major Accountabilities 

  • Ensure fully harmonized processes and practices across countries on Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) KPIs, CRM reporting and follow up

  • Support Therapy Areas (TAs) with launch preparations in optimizing FF setup vs market potential and customer universe

  • Drive design of promotional grids and territory planning process in close collaboration with TA teams

  • Consult TA teams on engagement plan creation and execution tracking, customer segmentation and tiering

  • Create and maintain incentive setting process for field employees making sure it adheres to highest industry standards and corporate regulations. Track performance and realization data and liaise with internal customer to ensure timely communication flow, including target setting and realization. Ensures proper documentation is maintained at all stages of the process

  • Support FF upskilling through solid and understandable analytics and training/coaching to improve performance

  • Track SFE and CRM KPIs and provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision making

  • Support key Field Medical Excellence (FME) processes through consultations and solid analytics

  • Support TA upskilling and ensure continuous support in performance assessment, management, field resource optimization and development of customer facing capabilities

  • Execute ad hoc operational tasks to support Business Excellence and Execution (BE&E) department

  • Act as backup for CRM system administrative tasks

  • On time reporting of spontaneous adverse events (AE) reports and technical complaints for all Novartis products

  • SFE KPI quality, transparency and improvement

  • Customer segmentation and targeting process accuracy and effectiveness

  • Field incentive process timeliness, accuracy and compliance

  • Manage risk, compliance, and controls environment, measured through internal & external audit

  • Regular upskilling initiatives and overall internal customer satisfaction and feedback

Ideal Background

Education:           University degree preferably in Economics, Business or administration

                             Advanced degree in Data Science and/or MBA is a plus

Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to efficiently work with large amounts of data

  • Expert user of Excel and other MS Office programs

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, readiness to upskill teams and ability to clearly communicate insights from complex sets of data

  • Strong drive for superior results and process improvement
