At Novartis, we are dedicated to improving and extending people's lives. As a  Business Consultant - Intern within our Business Transformation Solution teams, you will play a key role in supporting our global network of consultants located in Prague, Dublin, Hyderabad, Mexico City, Kuala Lumpur, and East Hanover.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the business transformation teams in projects and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

 

With guidance from our expert consultants, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in the management of global strategic programs or smaller projects, contributing to the delivery of impactful solutions.
  • Support program objectives and challenges, offering your expertise in operational excellence initiatives, data and digital projects, and more.
  • Facilitate management updates and workshops, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Enhance collaboration among teams by organizing meetings and fostering knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation, actively participating in critical initiatives and sharing your insights and ideas.
  • In addition, you will have the unique opportunity to rotate in three different departments - Consulting, Program Management & PMO, and Business Process Excellence. This will allow you to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in various aspects of project management, problem-solving, partner management, operational excellence, and collaboration.

Essential Requirements

  • Currently in the final year of university, working towards a Master's degree in areas of study such as business, science, technology, or engineering
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-functional, business change environment and contribute to a strong team culture.
  • Genuine interest in solving business problems and making a positive impact.
  • Basic knowledge of the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning and execution.

 

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of a second European language is advantageous.
