Summary

The Supply Chain Logistics specialist plays a critical role in managing end-to-end logistics process and ensuring a seamless customer experience. With a focus on efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction, this role contributes to the overall success and competitiveness of the organization in the global marketplace. Job Summary: The Supply Chain Logistics specialist oversees all aspects of logistics and customer service operations on a global scale. This role entails to processing international and US orders including Early Access and Compassionate use programs, coordinating the transportation, distribution and delivery of Zolgensma therapies as well as ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the process. The specialist collaborates with internal teams , external partners and service providers to streamline logistics processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the transportation arrangements from NC site to final destinations
  • Communicate with logistics service providers (couriers) and create job requests online on their portals
  • Prepare shipping documents for export shipments
  • Tracking shipments to ensure on time deliveries
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquires and concerns related to logistics
  • Support resolution of customer complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed customer expectations
  • Executes order processing, including order entry, allocation and fulfillment per procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment to meet customer delivery expectations and coordinate with warehouse team to expedite order processing and shipment execution
  • Work closely with Customs Trade Compliance/Legal to address any compliance issues or concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, finance, quality, manufacturing, supply chain and warehouse to align logistics activities with business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field and 1-3 years’ experience in managing systems in manufacturing and/or supply chain or 6 years’ experience in lieu of Bachelors.
  • Proven experience in global logistics and supply chain management
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems for order management and inventory control
  • Detail-oriented  with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to adapt to flexible working hours including Saturdays and some company holidays

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $33.18 and $49.95 Hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
