About the Role
Associate Director, ISC EndPoint & Data Protection
Location: Prague, Czech Republic #LI-Hybrid

The Associate Director will be part of the Security Operations team and will focus on EndPoint and Data Protection.
Your key responsibilities:
• Oversee end to end delivery of dedicated systems, tools or applications ensuring stability, integrity and business continuity
• Champion significant projects and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity to meet the agreed standards
• Collaborate with CSOC in support of Cybersecurity Threat Monitoring from deployed toolsets
• Focused attention on Exception Management
• Streamline and/or simply Ops tasks with automation
• Effectively manage global security agent software deployment and drive remediation efforts when gaps are reported
• Engage respective service lines and application managers to carry out corrective actions
• Coordinate crisis management with relevant stakeholders, if required
• Drive Service Management efforts by leading External resources managing day to day (BAU) operations
• Oversee problem management and drive identification of root causes as well as sufficient prevention of recurrences
• Ensure adherence to documented operational procedures to maintain system integrity
• Creation and upkeep of operational service documentation
• Adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Security Operations service scope
• Partner with senior management, compliance, architecture, application, infrastructure and internal teams within Security Operations

Role Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
• 10+years of experience in IT security engineering including: Endpoint Security and Data Protection
• Prior experience with one or more Endpoint and Data Protection technologies including but not limited to AV, XDR, DLP, Data Masking
• Industry recognized certification such as CISSP, CISM
• Previous experience with design and maintenance of IT Infrastructure
• Understanding of scripting languages for collaboration on automation demands
• Background in Security Operations, processes, solutions and technologies
• Proficiency in identifying and mitigating security risks
• Strong skills in presentation and stakeholder management, clear thinker and expert in dealing with ambiguity. Ability to align solutions to the needs of our customers and business partners.
• Ability to thrive in fast paced, technologically forward leaning environment and are not afraid to push the boundaries of security capabilities.
• Consistently deliver on commitments, deadlines and objectives on multiple priorities
You’ll receive:
Monthly pension contribution matching your individual contribution up to 3% of your gross monthly base salary; Risk Life Insurance (full cost covered by Novartis); 5-week holiday per year; (1 week above the Labour Law requirement) ; 4 paid sick days within one calendar year in case of absence due to sickness without a medical sickness report; Cafeteria employee benefit program – choice of benefits from Benefit Plus Cafeteria in the amount of 12,500 CZK per year; Meal vouchers in amount of 90 CZK for each working day (full tax covered by company); car allowance; MultiSport Card.
