Role Title: Associate Director Kinaxis RR Business Process Analyst

Location: Hyderabad

Role Purpose:

Based on evolving business processes and technology (Kinaxis RR) propose how to best leverage Kinaxis RR analytics and sophisticated modules (Command & Control center, process automation, supply. AI, self-healing SC)- to advance Novartis SC planning capabilities.

A strong IT partner, with an agile and entrepreneurial attitude, is required to collaborate with our supply chain department to demonstrate emerging digital business models to transform their supply chain. The role will lead the identification, design, development and deploy of solutions that use the newest and most appropriate technologies (e.g. Big Data and Advanced Analytics, AI, ML). Candidate will support the transformation of our supply chain and the continuation of our digital journey to rethink the way supply chain planning is designed and operates:

• Integrated planning process development and optimizations
• Optimized supply chain network models developed from scenario based enriched data
• Optimize inventory with customized fulfillment strategy to capture greater cost savings
• Use historical enterprise data to feed predictive planning models to harness more informed decisions. Advanced Analytics: deviation analysis on actual forecast, drive insights and automatically detect defects, etc..
• S&OP simplification
• MEIO
• Inventory modeling, heuristics.
• Any other specific business problems linked to data, processes and technologies

Roles and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Global SC planning business community to understand business processes and how users interact with SC Planning applications (Kinaxis RR)
• Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to resolve feasibility of projects.
• Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders
• Develop a comprehensive requirement specification that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources to deploy solutions.
• Liaise with Solution Design team to suggest a high-level functional solution.
• Provide final project estimates and complete financial model (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon etc.)
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services
• Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing and deploying new solutions
• Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications and testing & validation. Support validation and testing (OQ, PQ, UAT...)
• Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose
• Handle vendors required to understand solution capabilities and drive discussions with vendor and business stakeholders.
• Support Super User training

Essential Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline.

Experience

• 10+ yrs experience and good domain knowledge in supply planning, network planning, capacity planning, constrained planning, MRP, inventory/safety stock models - MEIO. Preferably in Pharma industry or process-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Sales and operations planning (S&OP), sales forecasting/demand planning, statistical and data driven models.
• Ability to collaborate within and across companies, cultures, functions and geographies to inspire change and action
• Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
• Experience with implementation of MEIO, Supply.AI, Kinaxis command and control center

Specific Technology Professional Proficiencies

• Kinaxis Rapid Response – good functional, data model and analytics knowledge
• SAP APO, ECC MM & SD, S4HANA, IBP experience is a plus
• Experience in how to best apply the latest technology as Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to advance our Supply Chain and solve sophisticated challenges (e.g. inventory optimization, S&OP simplification, others) is a plus.
