Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Initiates and/or supports projects for the purchase of production equipment and implements them in accordance with the objectives, methodology and planned costs of the projects; Prepares the user's requirements and transmits them to the suppliers, including the technical details specific to the products and production lines, adapting the supplier's solutions to the specific manufacturing environment.
• Prepares CARs (budget requests) for investment and continuous improvement projects, respectively energy efficiency; Collaborates with external suppliers in order to establish the specific technical details of the projects from the functions point of view and their integration into the factory's systems and infrastructure;
• Coordinates the qualification of systems for production and technical departments; Ensure continuous improvement and management of existing systems and applications;
• Collect requests for new requirements, plans and implements system changes and applications updates involving other relevant departments (MS&T, Production, Quality, IT); Collaborates with suppliers to ensure the internal requirements of the departments are met regarding the current applications/production systems; Coordinates continuous quality improvements to ensure compliance with internal or external requirements;
• Prepares/Approves the deviations and exceptions from the change and quality plan for the projects they coordinate; Prepares and implements specific procedures for technical and production systems, computerized equipment systems and ensures the personnel who use them are properly trained regarding the provisions of those procedures;
• Participate in GMP, workplace-specific, HSE and P&O trainings; Participate in the Evolve performance management process based on objectives, frequent check-ins, recognition and rewards; Keeps the confidentiality of the data and information to which it has access to and which are classified as restricted or confidential;
• Responsible for the alignment with the standards imposed by the Novartis group regarding IT/OT and Automation applications; Comply with the GMP, SSM, SU and environmental protection rules, respectively the workplace-specific procedures in force; Responsible for product quality and GxP compliance, including appropriate reporting to higher hierarchical levels of any issues related to product quality, GxP incidents or non-conformities;
• Is responsible for reporting to the management level any activities that have the potential to compromise the functioning of the quality system or the quality of the product, in accordance with the Q¬¬uality Directive regarding Escalation from the Novartis Quality Manual; Is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the completed documentation;

Role Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Essential: University Degree in Mechanical, Automation, Project Management
• Desired: Computer Design CAD/CAM
• Experience: 5 years in project management, mechanical design, computerized systems, automation, electronics, pharmaceuticals manufacturing
• Language: English and Romanian
