Summary
- People Partners support all divisional customer groups in country enabling the delivery of lifecycle events, the employee value proposition, talent acquisition, talent management, learning, performance management, employee relations, rewards, pay and reporting.
- In addition, People Partners implement P&O change initiatives at a country level acting as detailed designers and agents of change by working with Business Partners.

About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Provide end-to-end People Partnering support to leaders, managers, and associates, acting as a trusted advisor and first point of escalation on P&O topics, while coaching and enabling self-sufficiency in people processes and key moments that matter.
- Drives P&O initiatives, supporting the overall P&O strategy
- Activate and embed ownership of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Psychological Safety across the business, including the design and delivery of inclusive onboarding and people initiatives.
- Drive People Experience and Culture initiatives by championing corporate and local programs, leveraging customer feedback and insights to continuously improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of P&O partnering and processes.
- Coaches and guides people managers on role evaluations in line with local governance.
- Leverage data, analytics, and governance frameworks to identify risks and trends, inform decision-making, and ensure alignment, compliance, and effective risk management with local regulations and P&O controls.
- Lead the delivery of in-country transformations, consult and negotiate with local works council / unions, provide advice and guidance for managers through the local process, oversee associate notice / handover meetings and overall restructuring lifecycle.
- Lead the execution of local implementation of large-scale organizational and day-to-day organizational structure changes, in line with country regulations / policies.
- Leads alignment and harmonization of local regulations with P&O Board; monitors compliance, risk management and review P&O controls (as part of the NFCM framework) working with People Partner team.
- Ensure compliance with local equity / Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations
- Manage internal movement offers and mobility.
- Coach and collaborate with Country and Global P&O stakeholders, fostering strong cross-divisional relationships to share ideas, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement across the P&O network.
- Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt
- Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of in-house experience in Employee Relations management
- CPLA (Certified Public Labor Attorney) certification strongly preferred
- Business-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal
