About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate professional to help us achieve our ambitious mission to be a partner of choice, an early adopter and key influencer to ensure growth and success to support our internal and external stakeholders, servicing our distribution partners and most importantly The Patients. As Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for leading the planning and inbound logistics processes for Supply Chain Management within CPO CA.
The role reports directly into the Head, Supply Chain Mgmt and Customer Operations and will work closely with the Commercial and Business Planning & Analytics teams.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure product availability through optimized (costs, quality, deadlines and quantity) production planning and control, materials management, and work process organization in the framework of the stipulated guidelines (GMP, SOP, SOX etc).
- Ensure the adequate system functionality across all Supply Chain Technologies (e.g. SAP, RR/Kinaxis) between CA CPO, Novartis’ sites and External Supply Sites (ESO) for the correct supply planning execution.
- Active leadership in local S&BP process for Novartis Innovative Medicines.
- Improve the supply planning process through KPI monitoring, consistency, accuracy and synchronization as needed initiate corrective actions and training.
- Lead/coordinate overall preparation of specific supply issues for resolution and communication within Local, Regional and Global levels.
- Responsible for local 3rd Party repacking supplier operations for Safety labels and launches.
- Responsible for leading all new product launches in our local market and oversight for all Life cycle Management events
- Lead GMP, customs, trade, and compliance (CTC) for the inbound transportation of all products and materials.
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Sciences Master’s
- degree and Professional designation or accreditation (i.e.: CSCP, CPIM, PMP….).
- Experience in Project planning
- Strong knowledge of M365 package and data analytics tools such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Power BI, Sap Business Objects, Tableau, etc.
- Excellent communication skills required, ability to adapt to needs of various levels of management Initiative, self-motivation, and superior organizational and time management skills
- Flexible and comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment.

- Intermediate Bilingualism – oral and written: English and French
