About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and execution of integrated product access strategies across strategic oncology assets.
- Shape compelling payer value propositions rooted in evidence, differentiation, and unmet need.
- Guide access inputs across TPPs, clinical programs, and integrated product strategies.
- Partner with HEOR and PCO teams to ensure robust, payer‑relevant evidence packages.
- Drive international pricing strategy and governance with CLS and Pricing teams.
- Create innovative access solutions, including MEAs and Patient Support Programs.
- Prepare and upskill countries for payer negotiations through shared guidance and tools.
- Represent Novartis in internal and external access forums to influence and align strategy.
- Anticipate access landscape changes to refine assumptions and strategic direction.
- Lead and inspire the Access community while managing budgets and cross‑functional alignment.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience in market access roles with global or ex‑US exposure.
- Hands‑on experience working in early development stages of drug lifecycle.
- Demonstrated product launch experience in complex therapeutic environments.
- Proven ability to lead and influence across a matrixed stakeholder landscape.
- Expertise in access‑driven commercial strategy, including pricing or HEOR integration.
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complexity for broad audiences.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.
- Experience from Oncology is a must.
Desirable Requirements:
- Advanced degree such as MBA, PhD, MD, or RPh.
- Established network in payer and HTA environment
