As a Process Expert (m/f/d), you will play a key role in Compounding & Filling or Visual Inspection operations, serving as the technical expert who helps ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient Drug Product manufacturing. Working closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Technical Operations teams, you will drive continuous improvement, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and lead initiatives that enhance product quality, process performance, and operational excellence. About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the process expert for Drug Product manufacturing within Compounding & Filling or Visual Inspection operations.
- Build deep process knowledge and provide technical support to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable manufacturing execution.
- Independently manage multiple operational topics, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic production environment.
- Lead investigations, define corrective actions, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence of deviations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain master batch records and manufacturing documentation in compliance with quality requirements.
- Support health authority, regulatory, and customer inspections by providing process expertise and ensuring inspection readiness.
- Support qualification, validation, and implementation activities for processes, equipment, and documentation changes.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Curiosity about manufacturing processes and a proactive mindset for learning and continuous development.
- Ability to independently drive topics forward, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of actions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, workload, and competing demands effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience is preferred.
- Exposure to deviation management, qualification activities, or process improvement initiatives within a regulated environment.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:
60.978,00 - 89.300,00
The salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
