About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Drive implementation of strategic goals in line with overall organisational and procurement objectives.
- Plan, organise, and oversee projects, ensuring effective coordination of priorities, resources, and stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and constraints to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and organisational standards throughout project execution.
- Identify and address risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Apply analytical and project management skills to support business objectives.
- Utilise digital tools and systems to enhance project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Deliver results that meet project scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
- Promote continual improvement and contribute to process optimisation across functions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5-10 years of relevant business experience in large corporate organizations (industry specific experience is a plus).
- Preferably 5-10 experience in Procurement or other related experience within the pharmaceutical industry – Cell Therapy, Gene Therapy, Large Molecule Drug Substance, Drug Product, Sterile Fill & Finish – preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area (Technical operations, Supply chain,.
- University/Advanced degree is required.
- Master’s Degree/other advanced degree in the Nature or Life Sciences, or Economics is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Expertise in organization dynamics and culture, ability to gain trust and confidence at all levels in the organization, leadership and project management experience
