About the Role
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Deliver projects and manage stakeholder expectations for Novartis pipeline commercial strategy.
- Act as an individual contributor while mentoring a small team of Analysts/Senior Analysts.
- Develop advanced analytical solutions for patient journey quantification, forecast validation, and ad-hoc business questions.
- Analyse complex APLD datasets to extract insights and identify trends.
- Support exploratory research to expand advanced analytics applications.
- Apply structured project management with clear documentation and communication.
- Maintain SOPs, quality checklists, and knowledge repositories for therapy areas, brands, and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximise business value.
Minimum requirements:
- 6+ years in advanced analytics for pharma commercial strategy, with exposure to patient analytics and launch planning.
- Proven experience in pharma industry or consulting, with strong understanding of global market dynamics.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with patient-level datasets (APLD) such as IQVIA LAAD, Optum, Komodo, Flatiron; knowledge of Ex-US datasets is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint); experience with Dataiku and BI tools (PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau) preferred.
- Ability to integrate new data sources quickly and apply structured analytical approaches to complex datasets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in international, cross-cultural environments.
