About the Role
Key responsibilities:
- Provide operational partnership/ support to Novartis TRD operations team (stakeholders)
- Lead weekly collaboration calls with partners from US and Europe. Proper creation of Shopping carts/POs as per Novartis Standard/accounting policies/process
- Place Purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of material and services.Create catalogue Purchase orders by using Novartis catalogue management portal.
- Collaborate with requesters and stakeholders and considering the delivery timelines. Develop, establish & maintaining good relationship with Stakeholders and suppliers. Collaborate with Procurement team for necessary approvals. Obtain quotes, negotiation with vendor.
- Posting GR and PO maintenance on timely basis.Good to have knowledge on ATF (After the Fact PO).Initiate supplier onboarding process in Ariba.Hands on experience on MDG portal to update/modify the existing vendor information.
- Provide the necessary report to stakeholders from SAP.Proactive identification of operational improvements. Provide monthly critical metrics to Stakeholders
- Comply to various required trainings.Demonstrate/comply Novartis value & behaviors and office etiquettes.
- Quick grasp on functional training related to job provided by Novartis during induction and ready to train new joiner in the team.Provide accountable and clear records for audit trail.
Essential Requirement:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance from reputed institute or an equivalent accounting qualification
Preferred - Five plus years’ experience in finance/accounts payable in a leading multinational/ corporation
- Hands on Experience of working on SRM
- Should be a quick learner and able to train others.
- Strong Communication Skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Hands on experience on ARIBA supplier creation portal
- SAP knowledge is added advantage.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvements
- Intermediary knowledge on Microsoft tools and any data visualization tools
- Prior transition experience in any accounting process is preferred.
