About the Role

Key responsibilities:


  • Lead Medical Strategy: Develop and execute the Canadian Prostate - Radioligand Therapy Medical Affairs strategy to address unmet needs and improve patient outcomes.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the medical co-partner to Commercial, Access, Regulatory, and global teams, providing strategic scientific leadership.
  • Engage External Experts: Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, scientific experts, and key stakeholders to generate actionable insights.
  • Advance Evidence Generation: Identify evidence gaps and lead research, data generation, and scientific communication initiatives that support clinical practice.
  • Ensure Scientific Excellence and Compliance: Provide medical oversight and governance to ensure all activities meet the highest standards of scientific integrity, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

 

Essential Requirements:


  • Advanced scientific or healthcare degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Significant pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs, with expertise in Oncology preferred.
  • Strong scientific and clinical knowledge with the ability to engage credibly with healthcare professionals and external experts.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing medical strategies in a cross-functional environment.
  • Solid understanding of clinical research, evidence generation, drug development, and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, scientific presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities.

 

 

Desirable Requirements:


  • Experience in Oncology
  • Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare, reimbursement, and regulatory environment.
