Novartis is committed to respecting the values of diversity, inclusion, and equity both globally and nationally, recognizing them as the foundation of innovation and progress. They understand that achieving the full potential of each individual requires a supportive environment that embraces different individuals. To successfully fulfill their shared mission – improving and extending people's lives – they create a space where employees can be curious, inspired, and empowered, and most importantly, know that they are exceptional as they are.

"At Novartis, we are united by a shared commitment to belonging, which we live every day – in every conversation, action, and decision to truly listen to and support each other. For us, belonging does not mean adapting, but celebrating the uniqueness that makes us special and exceptional. In an environment where each individual can express their true self, we create space for innovation, growth, and breakthrough solutions. This flag is more than just a symbol; it is a promise that everyone has a place at Novartis where they can grow, lead, and succeed," emphasized Aymeric Royere, Novartis in Slovenia Country President, during the flag-raising ceremony at the Ljubljana location. In addition to raising rainbow flags, which was also held in collaboration with Lek in Ljubljana this year, employees were addressed with a discussion on the importance of acceptance, equality, and authenticity.
