Applications for scholarships are open

Novartis annually announces corporate scholarships for final year of secondary school and university students in various educational fields. Selected scholarship recipients complete an internship with us each school or academic year in the amount of at least 160 hours, and upon completion of their studies, we explore employment opportunities.

For the 2026/2027 school year, we are offering scholarships:

  • For final-year secondary school students in the mechanical engineering and electrical engineering programs who wish for employment after completing their secondary school program;
  • For final-year university students of pharmacy, chemistry, chemical engineering and related fields, as well as mathematics and physics.

Applications are open until April 30, 2026.

Practical trainings - Internships

Students can gain invaluable experience and skills and expand their knowledge in the educational field through school or study internship.

Under the mentorship of experienced experts and in connection with educational institutions, we provide a variety of practical trainings in various areas of our operations in accordance with business opportunities. Preference is given to candidates from the fields of chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics and electrical engineering.

Internships allow you to connect with professionals and can open the door to future employment opportunities and build a successful career.

Final Theses

We support the preparation of Final Theses (eg. Bachelor`s, Master`s Theses) for scholarship holders, interns, and other students based on current business opportunities and in cooperation with faculties. Each candidate is assigned a mentor within the company who offers guidance, knowledge, and assistance in preparing the Final Thesis. For more information, please contact [email protected].

Student work

We offer student work, both occasional and temporary, in various fields, from production, quality, development, engineering, supply, procurement, information technology and other business and technical areas. Summer Internship for young talents in Novartis

Every year, we offer the possibility of a two-month Summer Internship at Novartis Corporate Center for young talents. The Corporate Center is home to the support functions of Novartis' pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. It encompasses areas such as digitalization and information technology, human resources, communications, finance, risk and compliance, law, manufacturing and supply, and global drug development.

The program is designed for students from various faculties to familiarize themselves with the pharmaceutical industry, work on interesting projects and collaborate with top experts. The Summer Internship Program for young talents is a great opportunity to kickstart a career, as many talents continue to work with us after completing the program.

We publish the call for applications once a year, usually in the spring.
