About the Role

Location: Millburn New Jersey

We are looking for a Site Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) to help us reach our ambitious goals.

As the Site Head, MSAT, you will be responsible for leading the MS&T organization, scientific oversight of manufacturing processes, and ensuring product stewardship, across process units and functions at the Millburn Site.

This role reports directly into the Millburn Site Head and will also be part of the Site Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure robust product stewardship for all products manufactured at the site, and end-to-end technical oversight of product manufacturing processes, at all stages of the commercial lifecycle.

•Support excellence in manufacturing through standard setting and technical capability development and deployment. Identify and address process issues.

•Make sure that departments execute and maintain Validation Master Plan activities including the annual revalidation process and cleaning procedures.

•Encourage the identification and implementation of new technologies.

•Work collaboratively with functional management in technical research and development.

•Drive a culture of quality and compliance across the MSAT team.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology. Masters or PhD preferred.

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing including demonstrated experience driving quality and compliance in an organization.

• Fundamental understanding of standard pharmaceutical analytical testing.

• Strong working knowledge of applied statistics, quality systems and regulatory requirements across multiple health authorities.

Desirable Requirements:

• Prior experience with aseptic manufacturing and radio pharmaceuticals is a plus.
• Additional experience such as pharmaceutical formulation, process development, or manufacturing technology, is preferred.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $144,000.00 and $216,000.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24 fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
