About the Role
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned accounts including system entry, validations, rebate payments, reporting, correspondence, and all other aspects of contract administration
- Develop regular and ad-hoc analyses on multiple platforms, identify key performance indicators, evaluate business drivers and develop clear recommendations to provide management with meaningful reporting and updates
- Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships to facilitate the exchange of information, provide support and address the needs of both internal and external customers
- Understand interrelationships and support the improvement and maintenance of various systems, logs, policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others, articulating ideas and viewpoints, identifying and initiating projects, and driving the resolution of issues
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; subject area in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of finance, analysis or related experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills for business partnering as well as the ability to present before varied audiences
- Accountability for identifying problems and opportunities and making actionable recommendations; ability to research and respond to complex customer issues with reasoned judgment
- Proven analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data and trends with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Outlook and MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
- Important competencies include teamwork, problem-solving, collaboration, time-management, and attention-to-detail
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization and oversee expectations across different stakeholders
Desirable Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred
- Proficiency with life science applications. Model N, Revitas, SAP a plus
Benefits & Rewards
The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
