The Position: As Project Manager with Novartis Austria, you will be responsible for planning and executing CAPEX projects within organization including all reporting requirements. You will be expected to deliver these projects on time, within budget and to the expected high quality. Furthermore, you will adhere to the highest safety standards during the entire lifecycle of project implementation and will ensure that no critical findings arise during the course of HSE audits.

About the Role

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Leading CAPEX investments of up to USD 30 million 
• Prepare Project Charter, Business Case and CAR
• Develop Project Cost Estimation & Value Improvement Review
• Define project risk management (safety, quality, functional, project execution)
• Perform project reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review (TQR), constructability)
• Expedite and manage project vendors / contractors / 3rd parties in project
• Implement and monitor construction contractor safety and inspection plan
• Approve qualification plan

What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:

• Degree in engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent
• Full Proficiency in both German and English
• Five years of Capital Portfolio and Major Project Management experience
• Outstanding Project Management and excellent technical knowledge with demonstrated ability to deliver safe, effective and fully compliant projects
• Broad project controlling knowledge

Experience in automation and/or robotics
• Excellent knowledge of key non-technical business processes; Strategy, HR, and Finance
• Advanced HSE and GxP / QA knowledge

Desirable requirements:
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

For this position the minimum salary is €60,212.18 per year (on a full-time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
