As the Vice President & Head of Communications & Engagement for IM US, Tracy Furey leads communications and patient engagement focusing on our products and disease area leadership to help shape the discussion in the external environment, moving stakeholders to take action in managing the health of others as well as their own. She and her team are also engaged in creating awareness and understanding of Novartis leadership in Environmental Sustainability and Governance initiatives, as well as other areas of leadership including patient access, data and digital, and culture.

As people are the most important asset at Novartis, Tracy and her team also play a critical role in inspiring and engaging IM US associates around culture, strategy, innovation, transformation, and change. 

She started her career at Novartis in oncology and over the last 10+ years has worked across corporate, oncology, and pharmaceuticals, building on her 20+ year career in healthcare industry communications. 

Tracy is a vocal proponent for prioritizing and simplifying work in a complex environment for greater communications and engagement impact. Tracy is also an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and serves as the executive sponsor of the US PRIDE employee resource group at Novartis.
