Shefali Kothari is the Chief Compliance Officer, IM US, and Country Head, Ethics Risk and Compliance, reporting to Klaus Moosmayer, Chief Ethics, Risk and Compliance Officer, Novartis International AG and Tom Kendris, in his capacity as President of Novartis Corporation.
Shefali joined Novartis in 2011, having previously spent eight years at the global law firm Kaye Scholer LLP. Prior to joining ERC, she held various roles of increasing responsibility across the Novartis Global and Pharma US Legal Departments, including building the legal team supporting Patient Services in the US. Shefali most recently has been leading the ERC team in the US, supporting the US affiliates in implementing and complying with the Novartis 2020 Corporate Integrity Agreement.
