Summary
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains the oversight on compliance and business aspects of product suppliers used in ARD (e.g., QAAs, QRAs, support to audit and HSE evaluation).
- Responsible for onboarding product suppliers. Support establishing and spervising critical metrics for external Product Suppliers; The position holder is responsible for collecting and filling KPI’s in the corresponding tool to maintain the oversight twice a year at a minimum.
- Represents EPM at Operations level Support ARD Teams for new projects set-up, from Product suppliers’ initial evaluation, PO-setup, support PO creation and project initiation. Collect feedback and conduct Product Supplier end of Year evaluation.
- Support implementation of new requirements, new processes and tools (e.g. from quality modules / SOPs) in ARD linked to EPM.
- Support ARD EPM SharePoint and readiness of relevant information for end users (non-IT support). Maintaining partnership and managing regular operational review meetings for relevant Product Suppliers.
- Strives for a culture of empowerment, inclusiveness, continuous improvement approach in the network and flexibly adapt to evolving environment. Support and mentor people/teams on outsourcing topics.
Key performance indicators:
- Develops the outsourcing strategy for ARD and drives the implementation of the strategic objectives related to outsourcing.
- Establishes a solid Product Supplier base for ARD within TRD and evaluates Product Supplier base with regards to capabilities, quality, performance, and costs.Be a full member of the TRD EPM network led by the TRD Strategic Outsourcing Head, represents global ARD in this network and closely collaborates and liaises with the other LFs’ EPM representatives, QA and procurement to ensure harmonization and simplification of 3rd party processes, quality, and operational excellence.
- Contributes to due diligences or in licensing / collaboration deals by providing available feedback on third parties and participating to external partners GMP approval when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- >5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in functions with exposure to analytical development at Novartis or at similar functions in other companies. Profound analytical background and experience in analytical development and Drug Development process. Experience in Outsourcing management.
- Excellent project management, organization, planning skills. Demonstrates problem solving and idea generation skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge of HSE and GMP standards, systems, and processes
