As Head of Strategy, US, Javier leads the team dedicated to developing and driving implementation of the US Business strategy, aligning and connecting across functions in the US and Novartis. In this role, he is responsible for future-proofing the strategy as Novartis advances its ambition of becoming a top player in the US market.
Javier also acts as Chief of Staff to the President, US, and is a member of the US Leadership Team.

Javier brings more than 15 years of global experience leading organizational transformations, acquisitions/integrations and spin-offs, building teams, and partnering with senior leaders to design and deliver growth strategies. He joined Novartis in 2022, holding roles of increasing responsibility in the US Medical Affairs organization.
He holds a master's degree in engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Outside of work, Javier likes to travel and visit new places together with his wife and two children, always looking to discover unique local experiences.
