Senior Accounting Specialist Switzerland

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Month-end reporting process in accordance with laws and Novartis required standards.

• Single point of contact for the assigned entities, and to provide functional guidance from an accounting perspective for business transactions.

• Manage “Own Drug Refund” process where CPOs (country pharma organizations) apply for refund of commercial drugs used in globally funded clinical trials.

• Be the main contact for CPOs regarding pending refund on clinical trials. Overlook and follow up on pending refund balance, clean-up activities as well as budget updates.

• Support CPOs on closure process of globally funded clinical trials

• Work with direct managers to support financial activities, decision making and general projects

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Relevant years of financial experience, with in-depth functional expertise

• University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance or Chartered Accountant 

• Experience with statutory financial law for statutory reporting

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization

• SAP knowledge

Desirable requirements:

• Good people skills, leadership exposure

• Strong communication, time-managing and organizing skills
