Are you ready to turn financial insight into impact? In this role, you will be at the heart of accurate and transparent financial reporting, supporting critical decision making across the organization. As an Order to Cash Financial Reporting and Accounting Specialist, you will focus on ensuring effective collection management to support optimal cash usage for the organization. Your work will directly support timely reporting, operational excellence, and continuous improvement—helping Novartis maintain the integrity and reliability needed to reimagine medicine for patients around the world.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Based on the understanding of the country and customer specific situation, ensure timely payment of the invoices to be due in the month applying differentiated collection techniques based on the customer materiality & relevance.
  • Conduct regular visits to public hospitals to expedite payment processing and strengthen accounts receivable management.
  • Provide analytical support to O2C & TCM Manager in matters related to collection activities, decision making and general projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve collection related issues
  • Close all open points raised during monthly KPI review meetings, ensuring leading operations
  • Contribute to the preparation of analysis and reports with particular emphasis on accuracy, compliance and timeliness of data provided
  • High quality assistance during the month end closing process
  • Support country-level administrative activities related to FRA topics

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Specialized in collection management within the pharmaceutical sector, with demonstrated experience overseeing public sector collections in Chile
  • Experience supporting financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities in an operational environment..
  • Ability to analyze financial data critically and deliver accurate, timely, and reliable insights.
  • Experience working with financial systems and managing data accuracy across reports and registers (SAP knowledge is a must)
  • Intermediate English
