Distant workers are responsible for the cost of home office expenses and periodic travel/lodging to the East Hanover, NJ site, as determined vital by hiring manager. About the Role

The Regional Therapeutic Area Head CRM Responsible for leading and managng the full spectrum of marketing for brand(s) or brand indication(s), including marketing strategy, analysis, budget and resource management with multiple global, regional and country stakeholder relationships. Contributes to the development and execution of the strategic business plan, tactical program development and implementation, and ROI assessment.

Major accountabilities:

  • Drive marketing mix and implement operational plans to optimize sales, market share and revenue growth in the short and long term.

  • Innovate lifecycle strategies (LCS) and key tactics to generate incremental revenues and profits.

  • Responsible for all commercial inputs during development (from Phase III through launch) and for pre launch preparation for assigned brands.

  • Leads development of commercial deliverables to shape the brand and the market communicates implications to the GPT and prepares Novartis to ensure a successful launch and maximize product sales potential.

  • Ensures the alignment of Market Access strategic and operational plans with product plan.

  • Identifies potential in/out licensing opportunities, including co marketing & co promotion.

  • Generates stakeholder advocacy plans to prepare market for new products / indications -Develops and leverages relationships with key customers.

  • Identifies and develops synergies across marketing mix and between brands.

  • Drives innovative marketing best practices across the organization.

  • Monitors and controls brand budgets and forecasts, and assesses the marketing mix of assigned brand(s) to evaluate cost effectiveness and results.

  • Identify trends, opportunities and threats (worldwide and in key local markets) and propose corresponding measures.

  • Coordinate the communication of product related information across the organization.

  • Provide accurate and timely global forecasts for operations planning.

  • Reporting of technical complaints /adverse events /special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable )

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (MBA preferred)

  • Significant account management experience.

  • Strong cross functional leadership.

  • Deep understanding of Brand Management and evolution across regions.

  • Experience working cross-functionally and trans-nationally.

  • Experience managing large organizations.

  • Business case management.

  • Sales leadership.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $233,600.00 - $350,400.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time,
