Step into a truly global leadership role where you will shape how Novartis protects its people, patients, and reputation worldwide. As functional Head of Global Security Investigations world-wide, and the Regional Head for EMEA, you will lead complex, high-impact investigations, set enterprise-wide standards, and partner with senior stakeholders to navigate critical risks. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic influence with operational leadership - championing servant leadership, accelerating change with agility, and driving the responsible use of artificial intelligence and augmented reasoning (AIAR) with vision, to strengthen investigative excellence and business resilience across a diverse and dynamic region.
About the Role
- Lead the global investigations strategy, standards, governance, and capability across high-risk matters, to deliver maximum impact for the company
- Manage and oversee complex, sensitive internal investigations in partnership with ethics, legal, and compliance teams to detect and mitigate risk
- Ensure high-quality case management, reporting, and performance tracking across investigation portfolios
- Provide executive-level insights, escalation, and decision-support for critical investigations
- Lead and develop EMEA security and investigations teams, driving regional operational excellence
- Strengthen incident response, crisis management, and business continuity capabilities across EMEA
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen enterprise resilience and mitigate multi-jurisdictional security threats
- Champion Novartis values & behaviors; inspire and make others extraordinary, deliver collective impact, and take full accountability for decisions and actions.
- Integrate and evolve AIAR responsibly and strategically to drive performance, empower teams, and enable innovation grounded in sound data, strong governance, ethics, human judgment and accountability.
Essential Requirements
- Extensive senior leadership experience in investigations, security, risk and resilience
- Proven expertise and experience in leading complex internal and external investigations including fraud and FCPA matters
- Strong track record managing international teams through servant leadership and cross functional programs in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, change agility, compassion and high-impact decision-making in high-risk environments
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, and risk functions, including responsible AIAR adoption
- Excellent communication skills with strong executive presence and stakeholder influence
