This role provides end‑to‑end ownership of the Enterprise Visualization Platform and Power BI Delivery Factory, anchored on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric and integrated with Databricks and Snowflake.
The role owns the visualization platform strategy, architecture standards, governance, and cost discipline. It drives a factory‑based delivery model to ensure fast, consistent, and high‑quality user experiences through reusable and certified assets.
This role is critical to scaling Power BI adoption, accelerating Fabric and Copilot capabilities, industrializing analytics delivery, retiring legacy BI, and maximizing business value through close partnership with business and DDIT stakeholders.
About the Role
Major Accountabilities:
- Own end‑to‑end leadership of the Enterprise Visualization Platform and Power BI Delivery Factory, enabling scalable, governed analytics across regions and domains.
- Define and execute the platform strategy, roadmap, target architecture, and legacy BI decommissioning aligned to enterprise standards.
- Establish and enforce enterprise‑wide visualization, semantic layer, and user experience standards to ensure a single version of truth and consistent UX.
- Build and operate a centralized Power BI Delivery Factory with standardized intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and SLA‑driven execution.
- Drive delivery excellence through standardized blueprints, automation, CI/CD, quality gates, and KPI‑based performance management.
- Partner with business, Business Analysts, DDIT, and vendors to shape demand, prioritize outcomes, and maximize value realization.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and risk management, embedding ISC, regulatory, and GxP requirements into architecture and delivery.
Min Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology (advanced degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in Data & Analytics / BI, including platform architecture and engineering leadership.
- Proven leadership of enterprise analytics or visualization platforms in a global, matrixed environment (5+ years).
- Deep expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including semantic modeling, performance optimization, governance, security, and deployment pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience running centralized delivery models and scaling adoption through COE or factory‑based practices.
- Strong engineering discipline across CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and release governance, with hands‑on experience in modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills; pharma or regulated industry experience and cloud certifications are a plus.
