About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage all promotional and disease education initiatives.
- Understand the nature of the competitive market place, anticipate potential impacts likely to impact the performance and potential of the brand.
- Follow the implementation of cycle promotion with field force, analyze feedback, and propose changes and improvements when necessary.
- Devise and recommend appropriate product strategies through the analysis of available data (sales reports, market data and marketing research reports).
- Develop and maintain preferred partner relationships with key customers across Canada in collaboration with the Sales team, Medical Science Liaison Managers (MSLs) and Value & Access (VA) field teams.
- Communicate effectively within the organization to ensure the motivation and alignment of sales force(s) and other stakeholders to achieve product objectives.
- Maintain full accountability for financial & supply forecasts, brand performance, and annual budget; monitor/seek approval for key program spending.
- Support the Strategic Director in the development of internal and external presentations (IPS, Cycle Planning, Consult meetings, Brand Team & Sales Meetings/Training)
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Pharmaceutical Sales and or Commercial role (e.g. brand manager, business analyst, training, medical education, etc.)
- Superior Business Acumen / Strategic Thinking and Planning
- Agile with strong leadership, collaboration, communication, presentation and leadership without authority
- Initiative, self-motivation and superior organizational and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills and adapting easy to new systems.
Desirable Requirements:
- Ability to generate new concepts and ideas which improve understanding of a situation and/or create competitive advantage. Neuroscience background an asset.
- Bilingualism (English and French) a strong asset.
