About the Role

As Team Lead GL & Reporting LaCan, you will lead General Ledger and Financial Reporting activities across the Latin America and Canada region, with a primary focus on Latin American countries.
You will work closely with regional CFOs, FRA Heads, Business Planning & Analysis teams, Internal Audit, Global Process Owners, and Corporate Reporting & Accounting stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial reporting, strong compliance, and operational excellence.
This is a highly visible leadership role that combines accounting expertise, people leadership, stakeholder management, process governance, and continuous improvement to ensure accurate financial reporting and a strong control environment across the region.
About the Role
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities across LaCan entities.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with IFRS and local requirements.
- Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting packages and variance analyses.
- Support audits, NFCM compliance activities, and financial control reviews.
- Lead talent development, succession planning, and resource allocation across the team.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CPA or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, reporting, audit, or finance operations.
- Experience leading accounting and reporting teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced English and SAP/ERP experience.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working with SAP or comparable ERP systems in a complex multinational environment
- Experience leading finance transformation, automation, shared services, or process improvement initiatives
