Imagine leading the regulatory strategy behind life-changing medicines in one of the region's most dynamic healthcare markets. As Regulatory Affairs Head, Egypt, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating patient access to innovative therapies, shaping regulatory strategy across the product lifecycle, and influencing the evolving regulatory environment. Working across local, regional, and global teams, you will lead a high-performing Regulatory Affairs organisation, drive compliance excellence, and help bring breakthrough treatments to patients faster while ensuring the highest standards of quality and regulatory integrity.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute regulatory strategies to accelerate product approvals and lifecycle management activities.
  • Lead registration activities and regulatory submissions across the Novartis portfolio in Egypt.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and implementation of global Regulatory Affairs standards and processes.
  • Partner with local, regional, and global stakeholders to support successful product launches.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with health authorities, trade associations, and external partners.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing Regulatory Affairs team to drive functional excellence.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and translate insights into impactful business and regulatory strategies.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, drug development, and product registration.
  • Proven success developing and executing regulatory strategies across the product lifecycle.
  • Strong experience engaging and negotiating with health authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing, developing, and coaching high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills within complex matrix organisations.
