About the Role
Location: Hyderabad #Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of associates focused on vendor and data landscape evaluation and platform integration
- Serve as the operational bridge between and NOCC Hyderabad data acceleration activities and the US data strategy team
- Oversee real-world data source assessments across claims, EHR, patient registries, and emerging AI based data platforms
- Implementation of real-world data platforms and tooling (data42) within NOCC Hyderabad teams workflows
- Collaborate with the scientific data analytics and research analytics managers in NOCC Hyderabad to align data infrastructure with study execution needs
- Contribute to the RWE function’s internal capability scaling goals
- Represent the NOCC Hyderabad RWE acceleration workstream in cross-functional planning discussions with the US RWE associates
- Ensure data access governance, feasibility documentation, and vendor evaluation outputs meet Novartis quality standards
Essential Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of real-world data sources.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, specifically FDA guidance on observational studies.
- Exposure to oncology, cardiorenal metabolic, nephrology, immunology, and neuroscience therapeutic areas.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled real-world evidence and real-world data tools. Prior experience managing teams in matrixed team environment.
- Ability to develop and motivate specialized team in a newly created team with limited precedent; Creates clarity and direction in an ambiguous environment.
- Translate strategy into structured repeatable workflows; Builds processes from scratch and holds team to delivery standards.
- Comfortable across both data landscape and platform/tooling tracks; credible with both scientific and technical team members.
- Builds effective working relationships across geographies and functions; Navigates matrix reporting structures effectively.
Desirable Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in a field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics or equivalent and 10+ years conducting research in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry (e.g., clinical research, statistics, epidemiology, pricing).
- Master’s degree in a field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics or similar. And 7+ years of experience conducting research in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or academic institute; or experience in a closely related discipline within the pharma industry.
